Planning an improvement to your property? Whether you're adding or modifying a patio, fence, landscaping, shed, solar panels, or any other exterior improvement, it's important to remember that all Lot Improvements must be approved in writing by the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) before installation or construction begins.

Under the West Winds Master Homeowners' Association's (West Winds HOA) Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&Rs), no Improvement may be constructed, erected, placed, planted, or installed on any Lot unless complete plans and specifications have first been submitted to and approved in writing by the ACC. City of Bozeman approval, where required, is a separate and independent obligation—HOA approval does not substitute for City approval, and City approval does not substitute for HOA approval.

Please note: submitting an application does not authorize you to begin work, and the ACC's failure to respond within the review period does not constitute approval. You must receive written approval from the ACC before starting your project.
